Tri Valley Corp. (NYSE: TIV) 17% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.04), versus ($0.04) reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $685,000, versus $457,000 reported last year. The Company also announced today that G. Thomas Gamble, the Chairman of the Board, resigned from the Board of Directors, effective today, in light of the fact that he has become the largest secured creditor of the Company and the potential conflicts of interest this could possibly create in the future.

Diamond Foods, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMND) 11.5% LOWER; shares are seeing after-hours pressure on reports from CNBC's Herb Greenberg that Director Joseph Silveiri, who was on the audit committee, committed suicide. According to Greenberg, "Silveiri recused himself from the audit committee's investigation into accounting quesitons (sic) for certain payments to walnut growers because he managed walnut properties."

Tivo, Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO) 5% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.21), $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.23). Revenue for the quarter came in at $64.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $50.5 million. For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2012, TiVo anticipates service and technology revenues in the range of $48 million to $50 million. TiVo anticipates net loss to be in the range of ($31) million to ($33) million, and an Adjusted EBITDA loss to be in the range of ($21) million to ($23) million.

Pandora Media (NYSE: P) 3.6% LOWER; reported Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.02, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenue for the quarter came in at $75 million versus the consensus estimate of $71.44 million. Sees Q4 2012 EPS of $-0.04-$-0.02, versus the consensus of $-0.02. Sees Q4 2012 revenue of $80-$84 million, versus the consensus of $82.3 million. Sees FY2012 EPS of $-0.05-$-0.02, versus prior guidance of $-0.07-$-0.05 and the consensus of $-0.06. Sees FY2012 revenue of $273-$277 million, versus the consensus of $272 million.

Astro-Med, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALOT) 1% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.09, versus $0.06 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $19.57 million, versus $18.33 million reported last year. Sees FY2011 EPS of $0.37-$0.39. Astro-Med, Inc. sees FY2011 revenue of $78-$79.5 million.

Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) 1% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.42, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $399.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $393.33 million. Sees Q1 adj-EPS of 33-37 cents, which compares to the Street estimate of 38 cents. Sees sales of $380-$405 million, vs. the consensus estimate of $378.8 million. Sees FY12 adj-EPS of $1.55-$1.62, vs. the consensus of $1.60. Sees sales of $1.6-$1.65 billion, which compares to the Street estimate of $1.6 billion.
