LDK Solar (NYSE: LDK) reported Q3 EPS of ($0.87), $0.41 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.46). Revenue for the quarter came in at $471.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $514.68 million.
Shipped 292.5 MW of wafers, 192.1 MW of modules in the third quarter.
Sees Q4 2011 revenue of $440-$520 million, versus the consensus of $506.91 million. Also sees wafer shipments between 200 MW and 270 MW, and module shipments between 180 MW and 270 MW.
Sees FY2011 revenue of $2.20-$2.25 billion, versus the consensus of $2.34 billion. LDK also sees wafer shipments between 1.55 gigawatts (GW) and 1.65 GW, module shipments between 550 MW and 650 MW.
