Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on DuPont (NYSE: DD) price target of $52.00.

Barclays analyst says, "We believe DuPont is well positioned for the following reasons: 1) Commodity tailwinds (mainly TiO2) should provide upside to numbers over the next several quarters; 2) The improvement of Pioneer's competitive position should drive earnings growth; 3) The acquisition of Genencor gives DuPont greater leverage to the compelling biomass/biofuels/biochemicals space, 4) A decade of asset transformation leaves DuPont with a portfolio of competitive businesses; 5) success at reducing costs and driving productivity has improved meaningfully."

"One caveat: there is significant yield volatility both inter and intra brands due to weather so farmers will discount 2011 results when deciding 2012 seed."
