Valley National Bancorp (NYSE: VLY) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.1725 per share, or $0.69 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on January 3, 2012, to stockholders of record on December 15, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of December 13, 2011.

The annual yield on the dividend is 5.9 percent.
