Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on Teradyne (NYSE: TER) price target of $20.00.

Barclays analyst says, "We view Teradyne as a core holding into year-end and beyond, led by 4Q marking a trough for both fundamentals and consensus estimates, expectations for the discount relative to both front-end semi equipment and Analog shares to compress, and investors beginning to better appreciate the upside potential from LitePoint. We now model $20 price target, which suggests 40+% upside from Friday's close."

"We Tweak CY12 and Initiate CY13 Estimates and Raise Price Target to $20: We now model CY12 of $1.63B/$1.60 (old $1.60B/$1.50, Street $1.49B/$1.26) and initiate CY13 of $1.80B/$1.90 (Street $1.66B/$1.31). Our price target moves to 12.5x our CY12 EPS estimate (or 10x when excluding net cash of ~$3.8 exiting CY12)."
