Notable 52-Week Highs and Lows of the Day 11/10: (BKS) (COG) High; (SSRI) (IL) (CSC) Low

This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS) high of $15.38. Barnes & Noble hit another new high as shares moved 12.4 percent on the session. This morning, hhgregg (NYSE: HGG) said it would be selling the new NOOK line, and pressure has been put on Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) over potential iPad constraints, which may just drive consumers into Barnes & Noble and rival Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) this holiday season.

  • Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation (NYSE: COG) high of $87.40. Cabot moving higher as crude climbs. No other specific news is being tied to Cabot, but peer Petroleum Development (Nasdaq: PETD) is also up pretty well on the session.
52-Week Low:
  • Silver Standard Resources Inc. (Nasdaq: SSRI) low of $14.52. Silver Standard fell today following amid earnings. Silver Standard reported EPS of 27 cents, versus the 16 cents consensus. Notably, in it's report, Silver Standard also disclosed a reduction of its mineral resources and reserve at the Pirquitas mine in Argentina.

  • IntraLinks Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: IL) low of $4.83. IntraLinks continuing lower following its earnings report yesterday. After closing 37 percent lower, IntraLinks is down an additional 12.2 percent today.

  • Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) low of $25.26. Computer Sciences is moving lower again today after a 15 percent closer lower yesterday on lowered guidance. The move might be helped by JPMorgan, which downgraded shares from Neutral to Underweight, cutting its price target from $31 to $27.

  • Primo Water Corp. (Nasdaq: PRMW) low of $3.07. Primo Water appears to be taking SodaStream's (Nasdaq: SODA) earnings miss harder than SodaStream is, with shares moving over 32 percent lower on the session, adding on to a 18 percent drop Wednesday.
