Air Methods Corp (NASDAQ: AIRM) reported Q3 EPS of $1.44, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $1.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $185.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $191.27 million.
Total community-based transports during October 2011 were 4,815 compared with 3,855 during October 2010, reflecting a 25% increase. The increase is entirely attributed to the acquisition of Omniflight.
