Himax Technologies (HIMX) Tops Q3 EPS by 1c; Guides Q4 Revs Growth, GAAP EPS

Himax Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: HIMX) reported Q3 EPS of $0.03, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $162.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $158.34 million.
Himax said: "In the fourth quarter 2011, we expect our revenue to remain flat to slightly up with gross margin improving to over 20%. We also expect our profit to improve as a result of better product mix and continuous cost controls. GAAP earnings attributable to shareholders per ADS is expected to be in the range of $0.02 to $0.04."
