Powell Industries (POWL) to Restate Q2, Q3 Results; Guides FY11 EPS Below the Street

Powell Industries (Nasdaq: POWL) said it will restate both its second and third quarter earnings. The company cited accounting errors at Powell Canada.

The company said it expects its nine-month profit to be reduced by about 23 cents per share.

Now sees FY11 adj-EPS of 51-56c, on sales of $560 million. The Street is currently looking for FY11 EPS of $1.07 on sales of $554.5 million.
