Shares of GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK) and AstraZeneca (NYSE: AZN) have been trading in opposite directions since a mid-day call from a Morgan Stanley analyst.
The analyst upgraded shares of Glaxo from Underweight to Equalweight while at the same time downgrading AstraZeneca shares by two notches from Overweight to Underweight.
Shares of Glaxo last traded at $44.06, down about 0.8 percent from Friday's close. AstraZeneca shares are currenly down 1.5 percent to $47.05. Notably, Glaxo shares are about flat from where the stock opened this morning, however AstraZeneca shares are down nearly 0.7 percent from the open.
