Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) reports Bruce D. Broussard has been named President of the company, effective in December 2011. The company’s succession plan anticipates that Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Mike McCallister will retire as CEO in the next 12 to 18 months and that Broussard would become CEO at that time.
Broussard was Chief Executive Officer of McKesson Specialty Health, a $9 billion subsidiary of McKesson, Inc. (NYSE: MCK).
