Global Hunter Securities initiates coverage on Weatherford International (NYSE: WFT) with a Neutral. PT $17.00.
Global analyst says, "Our conclusion on WFT is relatively straightforward. There are many aspects of the company that we find quite appealing such as artificial lift, its Russian stimulation/production optimization business and a growing presence in the revived Iraqi oilfield. However, a host of unresolved issues, which include dislocations in the MENA geomarket, uneven quarterly execution, modest relative offshore exposure and a lingering FCPA probe, make it difficult for us to get excited about the stock right here."
