Global Hunter Securities initiates coverage on Schlumberger (NYSE: SLB) with an Accumulate. PT $86.00.
Global analyst said, "We like the SLB story and we believe the stock presents reasonable upside, but we'd need compelling evidence that the international rig count/pricing is about to go to the moon for the stock to dramatically outperform the group. Given our expectations for the NOC and mega-project oriented eastern and southern hemispheres to collectively improve at a measured pace into 2012, we believe an Accumulate rating and $86 price target are appropriate."
