Deutsche Bank initiates coverage on QEP Resources (NYSE: QEP) with a Buy. PT $49.00.

Deutsche analyst says, "At a 25-30% discount to closest peers across multiple metrics, QEP offers compelling value amongst the E&Ps. While a diversified business portfolio (E&P, midstream) and asset base (operations in 6 major areas) likely drives a portion of this discount, we believe management addresses this gap over the coming 12-months. QEP is a new entity for some equity investors and delivering on a returns-focused business plan and quarterly production targets should see the gap narrow. If not, we think more aggressive options are available to unlock value."
