Elster Group (ELT) Misses Q3 EPS by 6c, Offers FY11 Outlook

Elster Group (NYSE: ELT) reported Q3 EPS of $0.21, $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter came in at $464.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $468.65 million.
Elster expects that full year 2011 revenues will grow five percent to nine percent in 2011 compared to 2010 and estimates its 2011 GAAP earnings per ADS from continuing operations to be in the range of $0.90 to $1.00. The Street is currently looking for earnings of $1.14 per share for full year 2011 on $1.9 billion in revenue.
