Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Starwood Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: HOT) price target of $61.00.

Barclays analyst says, "Starwood reported 3Q11 adj. EPS of $0.60, with adj. EBITDA of $241mn. W.W. same-store owned RevPAR grew 16.2% (+9.2% in constant $)."

"Following Starwood's 3Q results and positive 2012 outlook, we are encouraged by the apparent resiliency of lodging demand in the face of recent macro headwinds. We expect this to continue in 2012 barring a severe economic downturn (which we cannot discount) and believe HOT is well positioned to grow given its high-end emerging market exposure, with each of these segments expected to outperform."
