Healthsouth Corp. (HLS) Misses Q3 EPS by 2c, Raises FY11 EPS Guidance, Issues $125M Buyback Plan

Healthsouth Corp. (NYSE: HLS) reported Q3 EPS of $0.17, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $497.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $493.37 million.

Healthsouth Corp. sees FY2011 EPS of $1.18-$1.23, versus prior guidance of $1.17-$1.22 and the consensus of $1.23.

The Company's board of directors has authorized the repurchase of up to $125 million of its common stock.
