Barclays analyst said, "Given the uncertain economy and reimbursement environment, we believe that the defensive nature of Health Care REITs overall and the stability of the company's tenants will provide a solid base for the company's net operating income (NOI). Additionally, we believe that the company's investment in operating assets in the senior living space is at the right time of the economic cycle and that the lease-up nature of these facilities provides HCN with the opportunity to show outsized growth in NOI."
