UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on Celanese (NYSE: CE) price target raised to $46.00.

UBS analyst says, "CE reported 3Q adjusted EPS of $1.27, ahead of the Consensus estimate of $1.09 and our estimate of $1.05. Operating income for all segments was near our estimates except for the Acetyls segment that continued to see improved margins due to industry-wide outages for VAM and acetic acid."

"We are increasing our 2011 EPS estimate to $4.90 from $4.60 to reflect the 3Q $0.22 upside (versus our estimate) and on an annualized basis. This is above the company’s revised guidance of at least $4.67 in 2011. Our 2012 estimate is now $4.90 up from $4.50 on incrementally higher acetyl margins and our 2013 estimate is now $5.00, up from $4.60 for the same reason."
