Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on Health Management Assoc (NYSE: HMA) price target of $11.00.
Barclays analyst says, "With the quarter, we are increasing our 2011 EPS estimate to $0.80 (from $0.79) and increasing our 2012 EPS estimate to $0.90 (from $0.89). We believe HMA can report at or above the high end of their 2011 EPS range of $0.76-$0.80; potential sources of upside to our 2012 EPS estimate of $0.90 include: a) better-than-expected margin improvement at recent acquisitions; b) HMA completing additional acquisitions; and c) HITECH payments."
