Citi's Deborah Weinswig is telling clients to purchase shares of CVS Caremark (NYSE: CVS) ahead of the company's third-quarter results on Thursday, November 3rd.
The analyst believes CVS's quarterly same-store sales will show strong growth as customers transfer prescriptions from Walgreen (NYSE: WAG) amid ongoing discussions between it and Express-Scripts (Nasdaq: ESRX).
Weinswig boosted her price target on shares of CVS from $44 to $45 and maintained a Buy rating.
With CVS shares up very modestly to $35.58 Monday morning, Citi's price target suggests potential upside of about 26 percent.
