Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Hasbro (NASDAQ: HAS) price target of $48.00.
Barclays analyst says, "Following a noisy third quarter, we believe fourth quarter results this year will be a particularly important indicator of Hasbro's future direction. The company enters 4Q11 with US channel inventories down over 9%, the benefit of pushed-out shipments, and positive point-of-sales momentum. After three consecutive quarters of EPS misses, we expect all eyes will be on whether Hasbro can mark an inflection point for its business by the end of the year."
"We are adjusting our 2011E EPS to $2.93 from $2.89 (ex-tax and restructuring),
reflecting a flow-through of 3Q11 results and a higher 4Q11 est. ($1.25, from $1.19) driven by a lower share count. Our 2012E EPS falls to $3.40 from $3.45 due primarily to higher operating cost assumptions. We are establishing a 2013E EPS of $3.70, driven by 2.3% revenue growth, 59.0% gross margin, and 15.7% operating margin."
