Goldman Sachs trimmed estimates and its price target on Buy-rated General Electric (NYSE: GE) from $20 to $19 ahead of Q3 results on October 21.
The firm trimmed FY11 EPS from $1.39 to $1.38 and FY12 from $1.55 to $1.50.
Despite the cuts, Goldman views GE along with Emerson (NYSE: EMR) as the top defensive names in the multi-industry group.
