Earlier, Goldman Sachs removed Cummins (NYSE: CMI) from its Conviction Buy List but maintained a Buy rating and $121 price target. The firm cited outperformance and limited near-term catalysts.
The firm adjusted 3Q/4Q2011 estimates to $2.28/$2.57 from $2.41/$2.45 due to improving Power Gen price realization and a sequential pick-up in China truck engine production in 4Q vs. 3Q. 2011-2013 estimates remain unchanged.
