PepsiCo, Inc. (NYSE: PEP) reported Q3 EPS of $1.31, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.30. Revenue for the quarter came in at $17.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $17.25 billion.
Volume in the Snacks segment rose 8 percent, while volume in the Beverage segment was up 4 percent.
The company expects to buyback about $2.5 billion in common stock during 2011.
