Goldman Sachs initiates coverage on Gartner (NYSE: IT) with a Neutral rating and $35 price target.

The firm notes 70% of revenue is from subscriptions to its research product, with growth driven by sales force expansion. The firm said while they prefer stories with product innovation rather than sales force expansion as a catalyst, they acknowledge its power in relatively under-penetrated markets. However, macro keeps them on the sidelines as we see risk of below-consensus growth.
