Rite Aid (RAD) Tops Q2 EPS by 6c; Tightens, Increases FY12 Outlook

Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.11), $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.17). Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.22 billion.

Comps up 2.2%

Rite Aid sees FY2011 EPS of $-0.40-$-0.56, versus prior guidance of $-0.42-$-0.64 and the consensus of $-0.48. Rite Aid sees FY2011 revenue of $25.8-$26.1 billion, versus the consensus of $25.67 billion.
