Canaccord Genuity reiterates a 'Buy' on OraSure Technologies (NASDAQ: OSUR) price target of $10.00.
Canaccord analyst, Jeffrey Frelick, says, "We reiterate our BUY on OSUR as we remain confident that the CLIA waiver submission for its HCV test is approvable...A CDC evaluation study of rapid anti--HCV tests demonstrated OraSure’s test benefits. The CDC compared rapid HCV tests from OraSure (FDA approved), Chembio and MedMira, determining that specificity was >99.5% for all three, sensitivity was highest for OraSure (98.5%), and the lowest false negative range was also OraSure (0.7% to 2.2%)."
