Netflix (NFLX) Picks Up Interest Mid-Day After DVD Split News

After trading just slightly higher upon the open on news they're splitting off the DVD business, Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) is starting to pick-up interest mid-day.
One overlooked item in today's news is that the DVD business, now named "Qwikster," will have an optional upgrade for those that want to rent Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 games.
"Members have been asking for video games for many years, and now that DVD by mail has its own team, we are finally getting it done," the CEO said.
GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) is down 3.5% on the video game news.
Shares of NFLX are up 3.7 percent.
