Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) 14.5% LOWER; has updated third-quarter guidance. Reduces domestic streaming-only user count from 10 million to 9.8 million, and domestic DVD-only accounts from 3 million to 2.2 million users. Total accounts from 22 million to 21.8 million. Financial guidance for the quarter is unchanged, as is international subscriber guidance.
Zogenix (Nasdaq: ZGNX) 13.7% LOWER; Bloomberg reporting the company has raised its common stock offering from 12 million to 30 million shares.
Aeroflex Holding (NYSE: ARX) 13.5% HIGHER; Goldman Sachs upgraded the stock to Conviction Buy with a price target of $15, suggesting 64% upside.
China North East Petroleum (AMEX: NEP) 13.3% HIGHER; continuing higher following a technical move back over the $2 level on Monday. Shares haven't looked back since. The stock is up nearly 40 percent this week.
Aixtron SE (Nasdaq: AIXG) 13.3% LOWER; issues a new 2011 revenue and EBIT guidance of EUR 600m - 650m revenues with an EBIT performance of c. 25 percent to 30 percent. The Management has also reviewed the existing equipment order backlog and has decided, as a matter of prudence, to reduce the previously published order backlog by EUR 100m. The stock was downgraded at WestLB.
HCA Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HCA) 11.5% HIGHER; has entered into an agreement to repurchase 80,771,143 shares of HCA common stock beneficially owned by affiliates of Bank of America Corporation at a purchase price of $18.61 per share, the closing price of HCA common stock on the New York Stock Exchange on September 14, 2011.
KIT digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: KITD) 10.6% LOWER; has priced a public offering of 3,200,000 shares of its common stock at $9.50 per share.
UBS (NYSE: UBS) 9.6% LOWER; has discovered a loss due to unauthorized trading by a trader in its Investment Bank. The matter is still being investigated, but UBS's current estimate of the loss on the trades is in the range of $2 billion.
