American Vanguard (NYSE: AVD) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share, or $0.2 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on October 14, 2011, to stockholders of record on September 29, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of September 27, 2011.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.7 percent.
In addition, the Company’s Board of Directors also announced that it has authorized the repurchase of up to $10 million of common stock of American Vanguard in the event that the trading price of the shares drops below what the Board and management believes is its fair value.
