Baird Maintains an 'Outperform' on InterMune (ITMN); Positive on Esbriet Launch Update and Pricing

Baird maintains an 'Outperform' on InterMune Inc. (NASDAQ: ITMN) price target of $56.00.

Baird analyst says, "Germany gross pricing ~$51,000 (36,000 Euros) is above the previously-given range, and net pricing ~$42,638 is a 4% premium to Tracleer, confirming if not exceeding what was priced into the stock. The rest of ITMN's update keeps us positive in front of the commercialization piece now kicking off. Separately, we continue to view the US opportunity as a potentially very valuable call option with little to nothing currently priced in."
