Kaufman Bros. initiates coverage on NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) with a Buy. PT $18.00.

Kaufman analyst says, "We view NVDA as a major beneficiary of the convergence of mobility and computing, and an increasing focus on power efficient processing, which should help the company leverage its core competencies in Visual and Parallel Computing...We are introducing CY2011 revenue and EPS (ex. items, including stock-based comp) estimates of $4.14B/$1.04 vs. the Street at $4.12B/$0.99. We are also forecasting CY2012 revenue and EPS (ex. items, including SBC) of $4.54B/$1.20 vs. the Street at $4.45B/$1.14. Our non-GAAP EPS estimate for CY2012 (excluding SBC) is $1.39."
