UPDATE - Nomura Securities upgraded Boeing (NYSE: BA) from Reduce to Neutral, price target of $70.00 maintained.

Nomura analyst, Jason Adams, said, "Exposure to the civil aircraft production cycle becomes increasingly attractive in an environment of heightened macroeconomic uncertainty, in our view, as record-level backlogs can provide a cushion against a downturn."

"Boeing has underperformed the S&P500 by 9% over the last three months, but the sales prospects of the new re-engined 737 and the start of 787 deliveries could see the company re-establish some momentum. As such, we upgrade our recommendation and maintain our current earnings estimates and USD 70 price target."
