Standpoint Research upgraded ManTech (NASDAQ: MANT) from Hold to Buy with a price target of $42.00.

Standpoint analyst, Ronnie Moas, said, "We downgraded ManTech on July 15, 2011. The shares have dropped 25% since that downgrade and can be repurchased/reinstated at this time. There is uncertainty regarding budget cuts hitting this industry, but a worst case scenario has already been priced in. MANT should probably not be painted with the same brush as the other names being hit because MANT is more involved with mission-critical projects including missile defense and cyber spending and has one-third of revenues coming from overseas. ManTech Int’l offers its products and services to U.S. federal government intelligence, military and civilian agencies, state and local governments, and commercial customers."
