KeyBanc initiates coverage on Roadrunner Transportation (NYSE: RRTS) with a Buy. PT $20.00.
KeyBanc analyst says, "In our opinion, RRTS's asset-light model, organic growth potential, acquisition strategy and complementary service offerings represent a compelling small-cap growth idea within the transportation space. Company-specific catalysts could be augmented by improving freight demand from increased economic activity, as well as sector-specific opportunity within the less-than-truckload market as larger competitors rationalize networks and reprice freight. In the event of softer economic conditions, we view the Company's asset-light model as more defensive relative to asset-intensive peers considering lower fixed costs. Management, in our view, is establishing a consistent, credible track record of accretive tuck-in acquisitions, which we expect to continue considering free cash generation, limited capital expenditure requirements, manageable balance sheet leverage and potential future equity or debt offerings."
