Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) Tops Q2 EPS by 1c; Guides Q3, Raises FY12 Outlook

Wal-Mart Stores (NYSE: WMT) reported Q2 EPS of $1.09, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $109.37 billion versus the consensus estimate of $108.26 billion.

Same store sales, ex fuel, flat.

Sees Q3 2011 EPS of $0.95-$1.00, versus the consensus of $0.97.

Raises its FY12 EPS guidance from $4.35-$4.50 to $4.41-$4.51, which compares to the Street estimate of $4.47.
