Southside Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBSI) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share, or $0.72 annualized. This is a 5.9% increase from the prior dividend of $0.17.

The dividend will be payable on September 8, 2011, to stockholders of record on August 25, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of August 23, 2011.
