UPGRADES:
Goldman Sachs added Visa (NYSE: V) to its Conviction Buy list with a price target of $96, saying they view the company as a secular growth model with a defensive EPS growth profile.

  • Collins Stewart upgraded VMware (NYSE: VMW) from Neutral to Buy with a price target of $108.00.
  • Credit Suisse upgraded VMware (NYSE: VMW) from Neutral to Outperform, price target raised fom $100 to $115.
Goldman Sachs upgraded IBM (NYSE: IBM) from Neutral to Buy and raises its price target to $195 (up from $170).

DOWNGRADES:
BofA/Merrill Lynch downgraded Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW) to Underperform.

KeyBanc downgraded AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) from Buy to Hold.

Goldman Sachs downgraded Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) from Neural to Sell with a price target of $3.30 (down from $3.80).
