Shares of Parlux Fragrances Inc. (Nasdaq: PARL) are following a disclosure that the senior management and a principal shareholder of Perfumania Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: PERF) have had preliminary discussions with Parlux regarding the possible acquisition.
Based upon these preliminary discussions, representatives of Perfumania and Parlux may continue to engage in discussions regarding a potential combination of the two companies; however they are under no obligation to do so.
Shares of Parlux are up 20 percent in early trading.
