Briggs & Stratton Corp. (BGG) Reports Q4 Miss; Guides FY12 Below the Street; Announces $50M Buyback Program

Briggs & Stratton Corp. (NYSE: BGG) reported Q4 EPS of $0.32, $0.10 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.42. Revenue for the quarter came in at $605.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $615.47 million.

Briggs & Stratton Corp. sees FY2012 EPS of $1.05-$1.25, versus the consensus of $1.52.

Authorizes $50 million buyback plan.
