Notable 52-Week Highs and Lows of the Day 08/09: (LMNX) (CBOU) High; (AOL) (LLNW) (YOKU) Low

This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Luminex Corp (Nasdaq: LMNX) high of $24.00. Luminex reported second-quarter earnings of 11cents per share on revenue of $47.6 million, both metrics beating views. Looking ahead, the company boosted its fiscal 2011 outlook from $163 to $70 million to a range of $180 to $185 million. The Street was looking for $170.7 million. Shares moved nearly 30 percent to the new high.

  • Caribou Coffee Co. (Nasdaq: CBOU) high of $16.14. Caribou Coffee moved 18 percent to the new mark today. Shares have been a little more volatile, moving slightly higher since its earnigs report last week. Notably, shares of peer Coffee Holding Co. (Nasdaq: JVA) are up on the session.
52-Week Low:
  • AOL, Inc. (NYSE: AOL) low of $10.37. AOL reported its second-quarter earnings today. AOL had a loss of 11 cents per share on revenue of $542.2 million, mixed to the consensus calling for earnings of 4 cents per share on revenue of $530.37. Additionally, Total Access subscribers were down 21 percent, monthly churn was 2.2 percent.

  • Limelight Networks, Inc. (NYSE: LLNW) low of $1.95. After the market yesterday, Limelight reported a loss of 5 cents per share on revenue of $50.5 million, missing views calling for a loss of 3 cemt and revenue of $52.4 million. Limelight moved just over 40 percent to the new mark today.

  • Youku.com Inc (Nasdaq: YOKU) low of $21.56. Youku.com reported a loss of 4 cents on revenue of $30.6 million, versus conensus views calling for a loss of 5 cents on revs of $26.5 million. Youku sees third-quarter sales growth of 110 to 120 percent. Despite the results, shares moved 16.4 percent lower on the session.

  • Stereotaxis, Inc. (Nasdaq: STXS) low of $1.11. Stereotaxis missed second-quarter views on both the top and bottom lines, its CFO Dan Honston resigned, and also withdrew its fiscal 2011 guidance. Click here for more color on the report. Shares were downgraded at ThinkEquity and Oppenheimer.
