Ford (F) Shares Rebounding; BofA Adds to 'US 1 List'

Shares of Ford (NYSE: F) are trading back over the all-important $10 level in pre-market trade Tuesday. The stock has been absolutely pummeled since the recent market sell-off which began, more or less, on July 22nd: down 25.5 percent compared to a 16.8 percent decline in the S&P 500.

Investors may be buying the stock this morning partly on the heels of an earlier bullish call from a BofA/Merrill. The firm added Ford shares to is "US 1 List," suggesting near-term upside.

Ford shares are about 2.7 percent higher with more than a half hour left in pre-open action. The stock last traded at $10.21.

In addition, BofA/Merrill also added shares of Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) to the "US 1 List." The firm removed shares of Magna (NYSE: MGA) and Warner Chilcott (Nasdaq: WCRX) from the list.
