Jefferies maintains a 'Hold' on American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP), price target lowered from $39 to $37.
Jefferies analyst says, "The PUCO Staff filed its recommendations Friday morning -- sided with intervenors on the four major issues. The staff recommend that environmental spending by bypassable, capacity charges be calculated by market (not cost based); AEP's proposed POLR should be lowered considerably and believes the existing rate structure should be maintained."
