Fuel Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTEK) reported Q2 EPS of $0.02, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $19 million versus the consensus estimate of $22.28 million.
Commenting on the outlook, CEO Doug Bailey said, "With respect to the balance of 2011, we believe that revenues and profits should exceed 2010 results as APC orders, in particular, increase as a result of more stringent regulations now being implemented in the U.S. and China, along with steady growth in our FUEL CHEM business."
