Goldman Sachs reiterated their Buy rating and $82 price target on United Therapeutics Corp. (NASDAQ: UTHR) following underperformance after the June release of data from the first Phase 3 trial of a new oral formulation of the company’s franchise PAH drug Remodulin.

The firm remains confident that oral Remo will succeed in Phase 3 and reach the growing $3 billion PAH market. They note a number of reasons why we expect oral Remo to succeed in C2 in August/September.

If oral Remo succeeds, as expected, shares should trade in line or above a $70 fundamental value, which excludes an M&A premium. If it fails shares are still worth $58, or above current levels.
