Calpine (NYSE: CPN) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.14), versus ($0.24) reported last year.
Adjusted EBITDA for the second quarter of 2011 increased to $406 million compared to $381 million in the second quarter of 2010. The increase was primarily due to a $69 million improvement in Commodity Margin, to $602 million in the second quarter of 2011 from $533 million in the second quarter of 2010.
