Timken Co. (NYSE: TKR) reported Q2 EPS of $1.22, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $1.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.33 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.26 billion.
Timken Co. sees FY2011 EPS of $4.30-$4.50, versus prior guidance of $3.80-$4.10 and the consensus of $4.24.
Timken now expects a full-year sales increase of 25 to 30 percent in 2011 over 2010.
