GNC Holdings (GNC) Tops Q2 EPS by 7c, Raises FY11 Guidance

GNC Holdings (NYSE: GNC) reported Q2 EPS of $0.39, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $518.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $489.98 million.

GNC Holdings sees FY2011 EPS of $1.28-$1.30, versus prior guidance of $1.17-$1.20 and the consensus of $1.21. GNC Holdings sees FY2011 revenue of $1.98-$2 billion, versus the consensus of $1.96 billion. This is a 9%-10% increase Y/Y, up from its previous forecast of 7%-8%. Adjusted EBITDA of between $313 and $316 million, an 18% to 19% increase over 2010 Adjusted EBITDA of $265 million. This compares to our previous outlook of an 11% to 13% increase.
