Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on Hess Corp. (NYSE: HES) price target of $108.00.
Barclays analyst says, "We fine-tune our EPS estimate for HES following final mark-to-market on our commodity price deck. We raise our 2Q11 EPS estimate to $1.85 from $1.80, while modestly lowering our 3Q11 and 4Q11 EPS estimates to $1.50 and $1.73 from $1.51 and $1.74, respectively. We keep our 2011 and 2012 EPS estimates unchanged at $6.90 and $7.55, respectively...We forecast upstream earnings of $727 million or $21.7/boe, up 49% y-o-y, and 9% q-o-q. We expect exploration expense to be $225 million. Total production is estimated at 369 mboe/d (000's boe/d), down 11% y-o-y and 8% q-o-q."
